About Mote Futurity

Mote Futurity Rope Horses is a boutique head horse development program based in Bluff Dale, Texas. We take a limited number of prospects at a time and train them with one goal: to produce finished, confident, dependable team roping head horses that perform at the highest level of the sport.

The program is built for owners, breeders, and ropers who have a quality young horse and want it developed correctly without coordinating trainers, marketers, haulers, and sale-day logistics piecemeal. Whether you plan to sell your horse at a major futurity-style sale or keep it for your own competition career, the program is designed to leave you with options and a horse that is ready.

Every horse in the program receives individual attention under a flat monthly training fee of $2,500 per horse. Owners provide farrier, veterinary, and dental care. Sale marketing and the full sale-day service are included, covering a geo-targeted digital marketing strategy, sale conditioning, vet coordination, transport to the Old West Sale, stalling, and ring preparation, for a 6% fee on the final sale price.

The program is led by trainer Bobby Mote, an eight-time world champion who brings decades of professional competition experience to the way horses are started, developed, and presented. That experience shapes every stage of the process, from selecting and sourcing the right prospect to presenting a finished horse to buyers at the Old West Rope Horse Sale in Heber City, Utah.

The Old West sale has become one of the strongest markets in the rope horse industry, with millions of dollars changing hands in a single weekend. Mote Futurity exists to put owners in the best possible position in that market, offering long-term partnerships built on honest communication, transparent pricing, and results you can see in the arena.
